Heath T. Langle

Heath T. Langle is a dedicated judicial officer with nearly two decades of experience in California courts and a deep commitment to fairness, integrity, and public service.​

 

As a Court Commissioner for the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, Heath presides over complex probate matters, including trusts, estates, conservatorships, and guardianships. Known for his calm, decisive, and equitable approach, he ensures that every litigant is heard and that every decision is grounded in law, reason, and respect. 

​

He is also a member of the Court's Technology Committee and Probate Committee as well as the Judicial Council's Probate Curriculum Committee.

 

Before becoming a Court Commissioner, Heath served as an attorney in private practice for more than 17 years, representing clients in probate and trust litigation, elder financial abuse cases, and estate planning. His broad legal experience includes civil litigation, advising families, and resolving complex disputes with professionalism and compassion.​

 

In addition to his judicial duties, Heath serves as an Adjunct Professor at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, where he teaches future attorneys with a focus on critical thinking, professionalism, and ethics. He has also volunteered for years as a Temporary Judge in Sacramento Superior Court’s Small Claims Division, reinforcing his deep understanding of accessible justice.​

 

A graduate of Lincoln Law School of Sacramento (J.D.), Heath also holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from San Francisco State University.​ Heath is active in his community, having served as President of the Simonton Cancer Center Board of Directors and as President of the Sacramento Valley Velodrome Association. He has also volunteered for the Gordon D. Schaber Mock Trial and Moot Court Competitions for over a decade, mentoring and evaluating aspiring lawyers.​

 

Heath and his wife and daughter share a strong belief in community, service, and integrity. He believes that our courts must reflect the highest standards of fairness, accessibility, and accountability. As Judge, he will continue to serve with the same dedication and respect for the law that have defined his career.
